“I’m in a phone booth after the end of the world. I can make as many calls as I want, there is no limit. It is unknown if other people have survived, or if my calls are just the monologue of a moron. Sometimes the call is cut off immediately, as if they had hung up on me suddenly; Sometimes it drags on, as if they were listening to me with guilty curiosity. There is neither day nor night; It is a situation that will never end” (The possibility of an island, M. Houllebecq).

This project is based on the novel The Possibility of an Island by M. Houllebecq, although it is not a theatrical version of it, it only takes it as a starting point, to carry out a stage project, which seeks to investigate topics such as: the end of the world, the post-apocalyptic crisis in a NON-HUMAN world, death and the possibility of eternal life, the loss of human identity, memory, the relationship with another and, as a consequence, life in solitude.
