The Charalito and La Justiciera collective emerged in 2013 in Mexico City. Their creators are Edson Martínez Luna (director, actor and dancer) and Valentina Martínez Gallardo (actress and director), from that point on, they have collaborated with artists from different disciplines.

The objective of the collective is to develop interdisciplinary stage projects that promote creations in experimentation labs with the collaboration of invited artists in order to generate a continuous dialogue between different artistic disciplines: dance, cinema, music, literature, theater; among others.

Our poetic tries to establish links between the different artistic languages, always looking for to open up different creative possibilities, without determining absolutes and instead open questions for the artists involved and the viewers.

Our research goes around certain themes and obsessions such as origin, animality, desire, love, violence, daily life, the infra ordinary, and death. We tried to generate provocation and surprise, and on the other way questioning our way of being in life.
