What Happens is that the Dog Bit

This work borned from the research around the topic of domestication and the relationship that is getting closer and closer between humans and dogs. We wonder, where is the human race going?

It seems that the sense of individuality is growing more and more as modernity advances and this lead us to establish increasingly distant relationships between individuals of the same species and increasingly close to our companion animals, which we call pets.

“I have nothing against or for it, it just strikes me how people, each time, they relate more and better to their animals, especially to their dogs, they live together, talk and are loving and compassionate, as  they are not with other humans. And I am not saying that it is wrong, quite the contrary, what I am saying is that it is proof that the attempt of some to create a community does not make any sense, rather it is about accepting and joyfully embracing the idea of individuality, like saying -I don’t want to relate to you and I don’t care what happens to you- and so we will continue until we finish empowering the dogs and one day when no one expects it,  Laika will come back from the space, she will return, first to take revenge of the fucking Russians who sent her into space, she will return in her fucking spaceship in her spacesuit and pick up all the dogs in rebellion, in arms like the planet of the apes, but of the dogs, no matter that they are friends or not of the animals and this will end everything, the power in dogs hands and the subdued humans, is that what they want, don´t you realize that we are going there? And I just wonder with what face we will receive Laika ”(Edson Martínez)
